GW 2014 | DC resident | Summertime Icelander | Intern at The Reykjavik Grapevine | Campus News Editor at The GW Hatchet | Floridian | Things I like: baseball, journalism, econ, homosexuality
I am a member of The George Washington University class of 2014, and am pursuing a major in Political Communication with minors in Economics and Journalism.
I was born in raised in South Florida — more specifically, Tequesta, FL
I’m a media fiend and aspiring journalist, trying to read as many publications and blogs as possible, and Tumblr helps make that possible.
I work as a staff writer and production assistant for my college newspaper, The GW Hatchet.
I have been a Boston Red Sox fan for my whole life. It was passed down to me from my dad. I cried during playoff losses of 1998, 1999 and 2003, cursing the likes of Mo Vaughn and Grady Little. And in 2004 and 2007, I felt redemption and jubilation.
My dream job would either Red Sox general manager or New York Times reporter.
I’m realistic, but with a splash of naivety, when it comes to analyzing my future. I’m ambitious and enthusiastic in journalistic circles, but cautious about getting too far ahead of myself.
I know where I stand on political issues, but I prefer to toe the line and remain moderate in political discussions. Most issues that are hotly contested do not have one obvious truth.
I’m gay, and am passionate about strengthening the LGBTQ community.
